Domain Presentation:
Nestled in Eraville, between the prestigious lands of Grande and Petite Champagne, the cognac house Jean-Luc Pasquet has been crafting its story since 1730.
Passed down through generations, it eventually came into the hands of Jean-Luc Pasquet in 1970, marking the beginning of bottling in 1977.
With a 14-hectare estate, the vineyard has been cherished in organic agriculture since 1998, with special attention given to local grape varieties, including some vines of Folle Blanche, a rare gem of the region.
Through its various expressions of cognac, carefully aged, the house perpetuates ancestral know-how. To maintain the excellence of its range for over 20 years, it explores the hidden treasures of local producers, meticulously selecting each cask for its exceptional potential. Each bottle, numbered and bearing the producer's first name, is thus a testament to a heritage preserved with passion and dedication.
Jean Luc Pasquet Marie Framboise Presentation:
Marie-Framboise is crafted using freshly pressed grape juice and cognac eau-de-vie, previously macerated with fresh raspberries. All components come from organic farming. It is a blend of Ugni Blanc (40%), Montils (40%), and Merlot (20%), cultivated in clay-limestone soil.
Marie-Framboise presents a clear, bright, light pink-red color. Its nose is very fruity, with a blend of raspberry, grape, and cognac. In the mouth, the attack is soft and ample, with pronounced notes of red fruits, while the alcohol is well balanced by the sweetness of the grape juice. The harmony between alcohol, sugar, and acidity is perfectly achieved.
This delightful beverage can be enjoyed on its own or mixed with sparkling water as an aperitif, or paired with chocolate cake for dessert.
