Domain Presentation:
Nestled in Eraville, between the prestigious lands of Grande and Petite Champagne, the Jean-Luc Pasquet cognac house has been scripting its story since 1730. Passed down through generations, it eventually came into the hands of Jean-Luc Pasquet in 1970, marking the beginning of bottling operations in 1977. On its 14-hectare estate, the vineyard has been cherished under organic farming since 1998, with special attention given to local grape varieties, including a few vines of Folle Blanche, a rare gem of the region. Through its various expressions of carefully aged cognacs, the house perpetuates an ancestral savoir-faire. To maintain the excellence of its range for over 20 years, it explores the hidden treasures of local producers, meticulously selecting each barrel for its exceptional potential. Each bottle, numbered and bearing the producer's name, thus serves as a testament to a heritage preserved with passion and dedication.
Presentation of Pineau Pasquet Blanc:
This Pineau des Charentes Blanc is the result of a meticulous selection of grape juice and cognac eau-de-vie, sourced from vines cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. It harmoniously blends Ugni Blanc (50%) and Montils (50%), cultivated on clay-limestone soil. After a maturation period of 30 months in oak barrels, it reveals all its complexity and distinctive character.
