Introducing the estate:
The Bache Gabrielsen cognac house was founded by Thomas Bache Gabrielsen of Holmestrand in 1905.
Several generations later, the company is still run by the Bache Gabrielsen family, by Thomas Bache Gabrielsen's great-grandson, Hervé Bache Gabrielsen.
He recently took over the day-to-day management from his father, Christian Bache Gabrielsen.
Presentation of the cuvée:
After a year's ageing in oak barrels, Pineau blanc Bache Gabrielsen presents brioche, honey and raisin aromas on the nose.
On the palate, this Pineau offers notes of summer fruits (peach, pear, mirabelle plum...) accompanied by hints of vanilla.
A generous finish with aromas of almond and grilled pear.
