Presentation of the estate :
Discover a family vineyard located in Graves Saint-Amant, in the heart of the Cognac appellation, blossoming over 30 hectares of limestone and clay-limestone hillsides, spread over the two prestigious crus of Grande and Petite Champagne. The Jobit family has been cultivating the vines for several generations. They distil their own wines on the estate and are what is known as "Bouilleur de cru".
Folle Blanche is an old grape variety that was widely cultivated before the phylloxera crisis and was then replaced by Ugni Blanc, which is easier to cultivate. The Jobit family, producers of Pineau and Cognac, has decided to perpetuate the tradition by offering a 100% Folle Blanche Cognac, full of floral notes and elegance.
Presentation of the cuvée :
100% Folle Blanche de Petite Champagne Cognac.
Terroir of limestone hillsides typical of Petite Champagne terroirs.
Grape variety: Folle Blanche
Maturation: Blend of 4- to 6-year-old eaux de vies aged in "fine grain" type French oak barrels to preserve all the subtlety of this grape variety.
The tasting :
Beautiful Cognac with a lot of finesse.
Brilliant golden yellow color.
Nose: A very flowery aroma reminiscent of acacia or other white flowers, but also slightly spicy with vanilla notes.
Palate: This Cognac is characterized by its floral flavors and its delicate taste with a light and long finish. It can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or as a digestive at the end of a meal.
Serving temperature: 15° / 16°C
