About Maison Seguinot

The Seguinot house is a family-owned Cognac estate located in Segonzac, in the heart of the Grande Champagne terroir, the Premier Cru of the Cognac appellation. Founded in 1890, it continues a craft tradition passed down from generation to generation.

The estate mainly cultivates the Ugni Blanc grape on limestone, clay, and sandy soils, and carries out traditional Charentais distillation as well as aging in French oak barrels directly on the estate.

Seguinot Cognac Napoléon – Grande Champagne

The Seguinot Napoléon Cognac is an expression made exclusively from eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne terroir.

This cuvée sits between VSOP and XO and benefits from extended aging in French oak barrels, bringing complexity, structure, and aromatic depth.

The Napoléon category refers to eaux-de-vie generally aged longer than VSOP and close to a young XO, with maturation typically between 8 and 15 years depending on the blend, without an official single age statement.
