Founded in 1890 in Segonzac, at the heart of Grande Champagne, the Seguinot house is a key reference in the world of grower cognac. For over 120 years, this family estate has cultivated its vineyards and crafted its cognacs in full respect of Charente traditions.
Unlike large industrial houses, Seguinot focuses on controlled production, prioritizing the quality of eaux-de-vie over volume. Every step, from vineyard to bottling, is carried out with precision and care.
This artisanal approach results in authentic cognacs, true to their origin, and highly valued by enthusiasts seeking genuine and characterful products.
An Exceptional Terroir: Grande Champagne

The Seguinot vineyard is located exclusively in Grande Champagne, considered the premier cru of cognac. This unique terroir, composed of rich limestone soils, promotes the production of eaux-de-vie with exceptional finesse and aging potential.
The vines, mainly planted with Ugni Blanc, produce acidic, low-alcohol wines ideal for distillation. This foundation allows for the creation of balanced, elegant, and aromatic cognacs.
Thanks to this exceptional terroir, Seguinot cognacs develop over time floral, fruity, and spicy notes, characteristic of the finest Grande Champagne cognacs.
Distillation and Aging: Traditional Expertise

The distillation of Seguinot cognacs follows the traditional Charentais method, with double distillation in copper pot stills. Only the finest part, known as the “heart of the distillation,” is kept.
The eaux-de-vie are then aged in French oak barrels, where they gradually develop their aromatic complexity. This slow aging process results in round, structured, and elegant cognacs.
Time plays a key role: the longer the cognac ages, the more depth, length, and subtlety it gains.
