Domaine Maze Churchill was established in 1979, the result of a collaboration between Jeanne Maze, a post-impressionist artist, and Robert Churchill, a descendant of Winston Churchill’s family. Located in the unique Borderies cru in Burie (Charente-Maritime), they manage a family-run, artistic, and discreet cognac production.

Cognac Origine N°1 is the very first volume in the series "Les Étapes de l’Esprit". Distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in Borderies, it aged for nearly 35 years in 350-liter French oak barrels, in a humid cellar ensuring stable maturation. Bottled at 43.2% ABV, with no additives or coloring.
