Pierre PRULHO was born in Bordeaux in 1891. His third son, Robert PRULHO, was born in the Cognac region in 1926, into a very modest family. He started out as an apprentice boilermaker in 1942. His passion for Cognac led him to become a still builder in 1948. His son Richard joined him in the family business in 1981. Today, they represent two generations of expertise and passion for Cognac.

Understanding the importance of quality distillation, they have built the finest and most efficient distilling equipment to equip the most prestigious distilleries in Cognac and around the world. But their passion didn't stop there. They have also developed their know-how in ageing and blending to produce exceptional Cognacs in the purest traditions for the pleasure and delight of connoisseurs. Today, Richard PRULHO is joined by his daughter Mélissa, who continues to carefully select the finest eaux de vie.

Presentation of the cuvée :

The decanter developed by Prulho and its futuristic, artistic stopper form a precious, fascinating creation. The shapes and design inspired the name "Frégate", which recalls the great voyages around the world and symbolizes the spirit of Cognac.

This bottle contains a Cognac of rare and exceptional quality. It is characterized by its unique and singular aromatic profile, as well as a persistent length on the palate. It's a beautiful collector's item, unique and available in limited quantities.

Color: Amber with mahogany highlights

Nose: Pronounced intensity, characteristic of old Cognacs. Notes of dried apricot, candied fruit and aged oak.

Aromas: Spices such as pepper and curry are refined. Notes of toasted wood, leather and rancio, characteristic of old Cognacs, are present and well developed. The integration of wood with candied fruit aromas is perfectly sublimated.

This Cognac of character is softened by its roundness, and asserts itself with a sustained length on the palate. A very tasty finish.
