Cognac Dobbé XO

Presentation of the estate:

The Dobbé family has been raising exceptional cognacs for ten generations in Salignac-sur-Charente, a small village near Cognac in France. The family vineyard extends mainly over the Petite Champagne terroir, one of the greatest growths in the Charente vineyards.

Maison Dobbé is renowned for its strong values, guided by generations of lovers of the land. Michel Dobbé and his wife, a descendant of the founder, have combined tradition and modernity to create the charm and quality of DOBBÉ cognacs. Today, the new generation continues the family legacy.

The Dobbé family vineyard covers 35 hectares, two-thirds of which are located on the sun-drenched slopes of Petite Champagne (an AOC - Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée - cru), which produces eaux de vie of great finesse. The remaining third is located in Dompierre en Fins Bois, on the banks of the Charente, a generous terroir that produces round, supple eaux de vie with a bouquet reminiscent of pressed grapes.

Introducing the cuvée: 

DOBBÉ Cognac XO reserves rich, velvety flavors, notes of jasmine and candied oranges combined harmoniously with a subtle touch of toasted brioche. With its bright mahogany color, it offers real pleasure and the powerful aromatic richness of carefully selected cognacs. Well-balanced, its elegant finish can last up to 15 minutes on the palate.

This smooth, velvety cognac is a wonderful accompaniment to chocolate desserts (or tarte tatin), and can also be enjoyed more traditionally at the end of a meal.

Packaging: available in a box adapted to the exclusive DOBBÉ decanter.
