Presentation of the estate :
The Frapin family has been established in southwestern France since the 13th century.
Located at Château de Fontpinot, in Segonzac, Grande Champagne, this family of winemakers and distillers has been synonymous with tradition and seduction for over 20 generations.
Today, the Frapin family estate covers 316 hectares exclusively in Grande Champagne, officially a Premier Cru Cognac terroir, 216 of which are planted with the "Ugni-Blanc" grape variety.
The Frapin estate's limestone soil is reliably identical to that of Reims, hence the "Grande Champagne" appellation.
Presentation of the cuvée :
Quality: Produced exclusively on the family estate. Quality Very Superior Old Pale.
Color: Golden amber.
On the palate: Harmonious, with lingering flavors. Golden amber in color, this VSOP develops a fruity bouquet of grapes and flowers, characteristic of Grande Champagne. There's also a discreet vanilla note from the tannin contained in the oak barrels in which it matures. The persistence of flavors reflects an already marked balance and maturity.
