A sensory journey through five exceptional houses: Seguinot, Ragnaud-Sabourin, François Voyer, Jean Fillioux, and Pierre de Segonzac. Each stop revealed the richness of the terroir and the unique know-how of Cognac’s greatest producers. A deep dive into an exceptional tasting
at Cognac Only
On April 24th, right in the heart of Bordeaux, Cognac Only opened its doors for a very special evening: an intimate and warm tasting dedicated to the finest Cognac terroirs.
As guests stepped inside, a gentle scent of wood, dried fruits, and vanilla already lingered in the air—an enticing promise of what was to come.
A generous charcuterie board from the Basque Country—special mention to Maison Oteiza, a true gastronomic emblem of the region—accompanied this flavor-packed exploration. A perfect food-and-spirit pairing, showing how bold charcuterie beautifully enhances aged cognacs.
Glasses in hand, the numerous attendees were guided through a remarkable sensory journey, marked by five stops, five houses, five stories.

First Stop: Seguinot XO Cognac.
The evening began with this generous cognac, bursting with aromas of candied fruits, precious woods, and dark chocolate.

Made from eaux-de-vie aged 20 to 25 years, it has remarkable depth, the result of patient aging in Limousin oak barrels. |
