Presentation of the domain:
This family has developed this estate since the end of the 19th century. It’s a family business from father to son for four generations. Guy Painturaud created Painturaud Brand in 1934 and developed a range of Grande Champagne Cognacs and Pineau Des Charentes.
Their vineyard is based in Segonzac, the heart of “Grande Champagne”, 1er Cru of Cognac appellation. It is planted on hillsides that are very favourable to vine culture. The calcareous soil allows to develop a very fine eau-de-vie destined to age in French oak barrels.
Presentation of the vintage:
Many years in oak barrels give this "Grande Réserve Champagne" J. Painturaud a style that is different.
Yellow shiny gold of her dress is more dense. First pleasant nose of vanilla complemented by notes of walnut, apricot jam, cinnamon and licorice.
Tasting: digestive, it impresses with its power and roundness. For lovers of old spirits, it can also be served as an aperitif on ice or hit.
