Prince Hubert de Polignac, heir to an illustrious French aristocratic family, began a brilliant career as a French foreign trade advisor at an early age. Recognized by his peers as a perfectionist, a fine diplomat and an open-minded man, he had a bright future ahead of him.

Passionate, epicurean and an enlightened lover of cognac, he was already the perfect ambassador for it at society dinners. Driven by a deep-seated desire for conquest and adventure, the Prince sealed his destiny with the expertise of Maison H. Mounier. Their union gave birth to Hubert de Polignac cognac on January 21, 1947.

XO cognac is an invitation to discover the depth and richness of Prince Hubert de Polignac's art of ageing. Exuberantly aromatic and deliciously complex, this multi-medal-winning cognac features eaux-de-vie slowly aged in traditional French oak barrels for at least ten years.

On the palate, Prince Hubert de Polignac XO reveals generous aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, honey and luxurious spices. The finish is particularly long and satisfying. Enjoy neat or on the rocks.

The cognac of a prince:

Born in 1918, Prince Hubert de Polignac was a man of culture and diplomacy. He was France's Foreign Trade Advisor. Epicurean, adventurer and passionate about cognac, in 1947 he realized his dream of creating an eponymous brand that would embody and perpetuate his values and those of his lineage, while contributing to the glory of France and French savoir-faire. 

The cognac that bears his name was quickly recognized for its excellence, and soon won the esteem of the greatest personalities of the day, including President René Coty and King Frederick IX of Denmark. The latter granted a Royal Warrant to Prince Hubert de Polignac Cognac, making our House an official supplier of cognacs to the Danish Court. Today, this exceptional cognac continues to delight connoisseurs and novices the world over with its quality, character and noble spirit.
