Paul Giraud Napoléon Cognac – Grande Champagne Cognac
Paul Giraud Napoléon Cognac is an exceptional cuvée produced exclusively in Grande Champagne, the Premier Cru of the Cognac appellation.
Crafted by the family-owned Paul Giraud estate, this cognac is made from carefully selected eaux-de-vie that have been slowly aged in French oak barrels.
Its average age is estimated between 15 and 20 years, positioning it between the XO and Vieille Réserve categories.
This long aging process gives it great aromatic richness, an elegant structure, and the complexity typical of the finest Grande Champagne cognacs.
Paul Giraud Estate – Artisanal Cognac from Grande Champagne
The Paul Giraud estate is an independent family-run property located in Bouteville, in the heart of Grande Champagne, the Premier Cru of Cognac.
It produces its cognacs exclusively from its own vineyards and controls the entire production process: vine growing, traditional Charentais distillation, and aging in French oak barrels.
Paul Giraud cognacs are known for their natural style: no added caramel and no cold filtration, ensuring a pure expression of terroir and aging.
Paul Giraud Napoléon Cognac – 15 to 20 years aging
The Paul Giraud Napoléon Cognac is made from Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie aged for an average of 15 to 20 years in French oak barrels.
This extended maturation develops noble rancio and a greater aromatic complexity than VSOP cognacs, approaching young XO levels.
The Napoléon category sits between XO and Vieille Réserve, offering a balance of power, finesse, and aromatic maturity.
