Presentation of the Cognac Pierre de Segonzac Estate
📜 The history of Cognac Pierre de Segonzac dates back to 1702 when Jacques Ferrand, an ancestor of the family, distilled his first harvest at the Biard estate.
Today, this exceptional vineyard is located in the heart of Grande Champagne 1st Cru, the most prestigious terroir in the region. The property extends over nearly 10 hectares, benefiting from limestone soil ideal for producing refined eaux-de-vie.
An artisanal expertise passed down through generations
Distillation takes place on-site using two traditional Charentais copper stills (18 and 25 hectoliters), one of which is among the last to be hand-hammered. The traditional technique of manual “bonne chauffe” ensures a unique distillation, preserving the full aromatic richness of the Cognac.

Type of production: Machine blown
This industrial process as well as the mastery of cold cutting bring a great durability and resistance to the product while getting closer to the fineness and transparency of mouth-blown glasses.
Caring:
Glass compatible with the dishwasher (glass program).
However, manual washing in hot water without detergent is recommended.
For more brilliance, wipe the glass with a microfiber cloth.
Soak a cloth with a few drops of white vinegar to restore the natural shine of the glass.
