Presentation of the estate:
Ten generations have succeeded one another in Grande and Petite Champagne since Guy Brillet installed his first still in 1656 on his vineyard estate in the heart of Grande Champagne. In 1850, Vivien Brillet enlarged his vineyard and set up his winery and distillery on the banks of the Charente River in Graves en Petite Champagne.
In 1985, Jean-Louis Brillet created Belle de Brillet, named after his "Belle", his wife Isabelle. Together, they worked passionately to promote Belle de Brillet, a unique liqueur combining pear and cognac, with its distinctive pear-shaped bottle. It soon became the flagship of the company.
Description of the cuvée :
The harmonious marriage of two terroirs: the intense fruitiness of Williams pears, distilled in Anjou, combined with the delicate complexity of Cognac.
The intense fruitiness of Williams pears from Anjou combined with the elegance of Cognac. No additives (caramel or added flavorings) or neutral alcohol are used, just pear brandy, Cognac, water and vanilla sugar made with fresh Madagascar vanilla. It takes the equivalent of 18 pears to make 70cl of Belle de Brillet!
Enjoy on the rocks or in cocktails, as an aperitif or digestif.
