Presentation of the estate:
A vineyard handed down from father to son on a family estate of over 35 hectares in the heart of Grande Champagne.
For 8 generations, the Courtin family has made the Charente region their home. The great-grandparents began making and marketing Cognac and Pineau des Charentes. Later, the father took over to develop the family business.
On this vineyard near Jarnac, the Courtin family works daily to enhance the value of this exceptional terroir. Quality eaux de vie are produced here, aged in oak barrels for several years. The entire process is mastered, from tending the vines to distillation and bottling. Traditional techniques that respect the environment and encourage biodiversity are favored to preserve the authentic flavors of the grape varieties.
Much more than a simple family operation, this estate illustrates a true passion handed down from father to son.
Presentation of the cuvée :
This VSOP (Very Special Old Pale) cognac is a 12-year-old single cask. You'll appreciate its fruity taste and rich aroma.
