List of products by brand Chateau de Lacquy

The Château de Lacquy estate came into the family of the current owner, Count Gilles de Boisséson, in 1711. Contemporary archives and the accounts of that time show that the production of "eaux-de-vie" (spirits) was already an important activity. Since then, each generation has left its own mark on the estate. The Château de Lacquy estate occupies a vast wooded area at the edge of Europe's largest forest. Ancient oaks, beeches, wild cherry trees, chestnuts, ash trees, acacias and pines provide shelter for equally abundant and varied wildlife. In addition to the usual European wildlife, it is also home to rare species such as turtles, salamanders, numerous amphibian species, genets and eagle owls. This is the remarkable, ecologically rich setting for the vines which, planted in the very heart of this area, are the source of the estate armagnac's excellence. But it takes time - lots of time - for the nascent Armagnac to come to maturity. Consequently, the current custodians of the estate, in the form of Gilles de Boisséson and his children, are also working on behalf of future generations. In Bas-Armagnac, time and expertise combine to work their magic, because only they have the power to create this elixir. This is the sole "magic formula" permitted by producers who respect the traditions.
