The Camus family cultivates a deep affection for their Cognac land, a relationship that has been passed down from generation to generation since the founding of the house in 1863. Through the five generations of winemakers at CAMUS, the brand's fundamental values have been carefully preserved. It is this transmission from father to son that ensures the continuity and flourishing of a unique craftsmanship, the foundations of which remain firmly rooted in the soil, the vine, and the grape.

Launched in 2008, the Camus cuvées form an extraordinary collection of exceptional Cognacs. Each of them represents a unique blend of rare Cognacs with guaranteed origins, produced only once in very limited and non-reproducible quantities. The cuvées reflect the ambition of Cyril Camus, the fifth generation of the founding family, not only to create "great Cognacs, always," but also to surpass themselves from one cuvée to another and assemble "an exceptional Cognac, every time."

Each of these cuvées is transformed into a unique work of art, enhanced by the skill of the craftsmen at Ateliers Camus.

In the span of 15 years, only six editions of numbered BACCARAT crystal decanters have been created in extremely limited quantities. Their elegant lines and contours, sculpted by the talented French artist Serge Mansau, now represent a symbol of refinement and exclusivity unparalleled to this day. With the Cuvée 4.186, the seventh in its lineage, excellence and rarity come together to achieve the extraordinary, as only 315 numbered decanters proudly bear the prestigious "Electrum."

This seventh cuvée is a marriage of four eaux-de-vie that are powerful, complex, and elegant. The mysterious "186" in its name represents the sum of the aging years of these precious Cognacs.

Its magnificent robe, with shimmering amber and golden reflections, reflects the personality of this unique blend, devoid of artifice.

On the nose, it reveals complexity and richness, unveiling notes of nuts and dried fruits, before giving way to indulgent and buttery nuances, along with accents of rancio, offering an exceptional olfactory journey.

In the mouth, this fusion of the four Cognacs begins with a round attack that evolves into notes of wood and spices, providing a wonderful length on the palate to prolong this historic and sensory journey.
