Pineau Blanc Domaine de Fraichefont

Presentation of the domain :

In Auge Saint Medard, municipality located on Fin Bois' area (one soil of the Poitou Charente for Cognac's production), the Vineyard Fraichefont start in the 90's 

It is on three hectares of vineyard, cultivated with passion that they develop this pineau of the Charente for this own brand. Lionel Ducom is a pationated wine grower, hew wants to show you something different. 

Presentation of the vintage :

The limestone terroir and exposure are fully expressed in this Pineau whose must comes exclusively from Colombard. Half of its aging in new barrels for a year, it has acquired assertive woody notes that mingle with yellow fruits and white flowers.

Its complexity asserts itself on the palate, where the wine is warm, dense and very fruity, and admirably “absorbs” the toasted tannins left by the barrel.
