Cognac Frapin Cigar Blend

Presentation of the domain :

The Frapin family has been established in the South West of France since 1270, initially as a family wine-growers. Then they becam distillers and have continued in this tradition for 20 generations. They established their headquarters in the Fontpinot Castle at Segonzac.

Today the Frapin estate covers 300 hectares entirely in Grande Champagne, officially listed as Premier Cru de Cognac, of which 200 hectares are planted with the "Ugni-Blanc" grape variety.

The Frapin estate has crumbly, chalky soil, which is identical to the soil in Reims, hence the appellation "Grande Champagne".

Presentation of the vintage :

Colour: mahogany colour with coppery tints

Bouquet: perfectly balanced, concentrated aromas and extremely soft, complex and subtle bouquet of old port combined with the scent of a cigar box. Frapin Cigar Blend
displays discreet hints of vanilla, flavours of walnuts, hazelnuts and dried fruits combined with dried flowers, typical of the famous “Rancio”.

Palate: Its flavours blend harmoniously with its floral, fruity aromas and it shows a persistent taste that is a characteristic of Grande Champagne cognacs. The flavours mingle in subtle, complex harmony on its exceptionally long aftertaste.
