Presentation of the domain:
The house of cognac of Bache-Gabrielsen was established by Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen de Holmestrand in 1905.
Several generations later the company is always managed by the family Bache-Gabrielse, by the great-grandson of Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen.
He recently resumed the management to the everyday life of his father, Christian Bache-Gabrielsen.
Presentation of the vintage:
The 1971 Vintage from Bache Gabrielsen is a Cognac from Borderies, the smallest growth in the Cognac region. It is also a "Single Estate" Cognac because it comes only from one property of a wine-grower in the village of Chérac.
This cognac is light and elegant with golden color. On the nose, floral notes and vanilla are in balance. Taste is subtle and smooth with flavors of white fruits and citrus. Long finish.
