Originating from Ireland, James Delamain chose in 1759 to settle down in France to join forces with Jean-Isaac Ranson, his father-in-law, owner of an old exporting House which has begun at the same time to the first activities of the Cognac.
The deep roots of the House Delamain, House managed this day by direct descendants of the founder, Patrick Peyrelongue and his cousin Charles Braastad, dive in the origins of the trade of the Cognac and allow it to belong to the oldest names of the region.
Opened to the world and attentive to the respect for the tradition, the successive leaders of the company always presided over the determining operations of the job : purchase of brandies, ageing, blends, reduction, what explains the reliability of the product. Keeping the original character of the old Houses of Cognac, Delamain selects and buys brandies with the owners distillers of the region, with it keeps going mutual reliable relationships.
So Delamain reaches fine brandies of the soil of Big Champagne, only be able to supply the quality and satisfy the requirements of the House.

Ce cognac ancestral provient d’un fût unique et incarne levieillissement ultime des eaux-de-vie de Grande Champagne. Elles ont été guidées pendant des décennies, par différentes générations de la famille Delamain, jusqu’à leur maximum de maturité.
Ce cognac rare a été jugé si exceptionnel,si parfait qu‘il est présenté intacte, sans aucun assemblage ou réduction.
