Presentation of the domain :
The House Hardy was created thanks to a British gentleman, Anthony Hardy. As a good professional of wines and spirits, he escaped regularly from London to check the quality of vineyards of Charente. He succumbed to the charm of the region and settled down there.
He established the House Hardy in 1863. Big lover of France and French people, he chose to transform his first name into Antoine. He also adopts the cock Gallic as emblem of his House.
In 1880, Anthony Hardy already distributed his brandies in different countries of the globe. In 1891, a golden medal in the exhibition of Saint-Petersburg rewards the " Cognac of the Alliance " created in homage to the French-Russian friendship. Little by little, the House Hardy positions and confirms its style.
Bénédicte Hardy embodies the fifth family generation. Ambassadress of the house, she develops sales in the United States.
