Cognac Château Montifaud XO

Presentation of the domain:

Cognacs from Château Montifaud, real winegrower products, have been elaborated for more than 150 years by the same family. A result of 6 generation to take care of this quality vineyard. 

The estate is about 125 hectares, both in Grande-Champagne and in Petite-Champagne, the first two vintages of the cognac region. There, this independent winemaker produces "high-end" cogancs, only in bottles. 

Presentation of the vintage :

Blonde color with golden highlights.

Much older than what is required by the regulations, this Cognac XO opens the doors of our cellar Paradis, where our oldest cognacs rest preciously. Remarkable aromas of dried fruits, especially roasted almonds. Great freshness and little tannin. It is characterized by its softness and its long length in the mouth. Rancio very present. Appearance of spicy notes.
