Pierre Lecat is considered as a watchmaker of the Cognac. His passion for this noble job rise him to the rank of the great masters.The art of the ageing and the assembly of Cognacs requires the most perfect accuracy and a big know how to make.

Cognacs Pierre Lecat are developed by the new generation which, by inheriting from a treasure of knowledge, make its contribution with passion. Patience, constancy and precision are necessary for the creation of a work of art. The wealth of the aromas of our Cognacs is the fruit of a learned construction, slowly pursued over the years, in the twilight of wine storehouses.

Presentation of the vintage :

Visual : amber and mahogany colour. Perfect clarity, very bright.

Nose : very smooth aromas. Flowery like jasmine and honeysuckle. Delicate touches of porto wine and walnut.
Vanilla oak, chocolate powder. Light spicy aromas such as curry and saffron.
Candied fruits: orange, pear, apricot. Candied ginger in the finish.

Palate : velvety on the palate. Perfect harmony between taste and aroma. Great maturity and concentration. Warm on the palate. The finish lasts 10 minutes.
Well-appreciated XO Cognac without being a connoisseur.

Our XO “Mémoire” pays tribute to the art of subtlety and precision of our family watchmakers.

This is a superb XO, both powerful and with a complex range of flavors: honey notes, candied and dried fruits (figs, raisins and mango, lemon). Beautiful salinity in the mouth, very sharp and delectable frank flavors (honey, coffee, cocoa, grapes withered, etc.). The finale moderates its power to allow for the spices (cardamom, juniper) to instill the taste buds durably. Bravo !
