Pierre Lecat is considered as a watchmaker of the Cognac. His passion for this noble job rise him to the rank of the great masters.The art of the ageing and the assembly of Cognacs requires the most perfect accuracy and a big know how to make.

Cognacs Pierre Lecat are developed by the new generation which, by inheriting from a treasure of knowledge, make its contribution with passion. Patience, constancy and precision are necessary for the creation of a work of art. The wealth of the aromas of our Cognacs is the fruit of a learned construction, slowly pursued over the years, in the twilight of wine storehouses.

Presentation of the vintage :

Eye : remarquable amber and golden colour. Brilliant hue.

Nose : attractive sweet smell. Noticeable vanilla oak aroma.
Flowery scents: rose and violet. Fruity: apricot jam and orange marmelade.
Delicate touches of port wine and hazel nut. Liquorice in the finish.

Palate : very mellow on the palate. Good equilibrium between taste and aroma. Warm and long finish during several minutes. Already very matured.

Enjoy neat or on the rocks.

Here is a VSOP both elegant and fragrant. Roasted and malted notes (medlar, chestnut, cereal and apricot), a panel of red fruit stones in the mouth, and some exotic shades (faham, vanilla), which remind us of the dark rum. The finale mixes maturing  and noble bitters refresh the nectar.
