Domain History:
In 1860, Raymond Ragnaud's family fell in love with a small vineyard in Grande Champagne, renowned for its exceptional eaux-de-vie of unparalleled quality, particularly for their aging potential.
In 1920, Paul Ragnaud settled at Château d'Ambleville and passed the property on to his son Raymond in 1941. He then took the reins of the vineyard and decided to market the precious eaux-de-vie he inherited.
In 1963, his wife, with the help of their children Françoise and Jean-Marie, shaped the future of the estate, which now extends over 47 hectares spread across three distinct vineyards - Ambleville, Criteuil, and Lignières-Sonneville - all nestled on the hillsides of Grande Champagne, a unique region known for producing eaux-de-vie of incomparable finesse.
For three decades, Françoise Ragnaud-Bricq, true to her roots, has upheld tradition by overseeing the harvests with meticulous attention and unparalleled experience.
Presentation of the blend:
This Cognac draws its unique essence from the Folle Blanche grape variety, planted in Grande Champagne de Cognac in 1994 on a small plot of about 4 hectares.
Exquisitely refined, this eau-de-vie offers remarkable floral notes. On the palate, it reveals a soft, almost velvety texture, unveiling nuances of spicy grape,
