Originating from Ireland, James Delamain chose in 1759 to settle down in France to join forces with Jean-Isaac Ranson, his father-in-law, owner of an old exporting House which has begun at the same time to the first activities of the Cognac.
The deep roots of the House Delamain, House managed this day by direct descendants of the founder, Patrick Peyrelongue and his cousin Charles Braastad, dive in the origins of the trade of the Cognac and allow it to belong to the oldest names of the region.

Opened to the world and attentive to the respect for the tradition, the successive leaders of the company always presided over the determining operations of the job : purchase of brandies, ageing, blends, reduction, what explains the reliability of the product.
