Presentation of the domain:
The house of cognac of Bache-Gabrielsen was established by Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen de Holmestrand in 1905.
Several generations later the company is always managed by the family Bache-Gabrielse, by the great-grandson of Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen.
He recently resumed the management to the everyday life of his father, Christian Bache-Gabrielsen.
Presentation of the vintage:
The oldest elements have spent 50 years in oak barrels from Limousin France. In conjunction with the younger components, which gives an average age of about 30 years.
It has an elegant nose with a touch of mocha and orange marmalade. On the palate it is round and velvety, with notes of coffee, vanilla and flowers.
The winemaker, Jean-Philippe Bergier, managed to find and combine the true essence of traditional cognac again.
