Estate presentation :

The French Art de Vivre is the guiding principle of Maison Martell. In fact, gastronomy, taste and art are given pride of place here, celebrating the beauty and pleasure of every moment. It was this culture of refinement and expertise that Englishman Jean Martell discovered when he arrived in France from his native Jersey. He soon began trading eaux-de-vie in Cognac.

This passion for trading spirits was to stay with him for the rest of his life. For almost 40 years, Jean Martell devoted himself to the study and development of the art of Cognac. He explored the region in search of the finest eaux-de-vie, forging ties with local winemakers that would last for generations. After his death in 1753, his widow Rachel bought the company, vowing to preserve its values and integrity.

Martell remains the oldest of the great Cognac houses, forged by passion and knowledge handed down from generation to generation since 1715.

Often represented as one of the symbols of French refinement, Martell is the world leader in XO (Extra Old) Cognacs.

Presentation of the cuvée :

Martell Cohiba is a top-of-the-range cognac, made from the finest Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie and aged between 40 and 50 years.

Round, smooth and soft on the palate. A touch of licorice and a hint of hazelnut on the finish. Martell Cohiba is a unique blend of old eaux-de-vie from the prestigious Grande Champagne terroir. This cognac has complex, intense aromas.

Supple, fresh and powerful, it meets the challenge of a cigar of the same name.
