Cognac XO Forgeron

Presentation of the domain:

Family property for more than 100 years, Michel and Francine Forgeron developed with passion since 1965, elegant, authentic products and of an exceptional quality. 

Of 2ha of vineyards  in 1965, the vineyard now reached a surface of 24ha, the whole lot of which is on the country of the Big Champagne, the most prestigious country of the area of production of Cognac, and in a beam of 5km around the exploitation. 

50 years later, they are the sons of the house Pierre and Christophe Forgeron, which continue to make live the traditions and the know-how of the family Smith.

Presentation of the vintage:

The XO has a Brown Mahogany dress, with sustained brilliance and golden reflections.
Fat tears form on the edges of the glass.

Opulent Cognac, with great aromatic power.

Notes of leather and spice made by the oxidation of tannins: Curry, Clove, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Coffee.
Pastry notes with candied fruits. Round eaux-de -vie, soft and delicate, with a good integration of flavors, one perceives caramelized notes and a delicate rancid taste. Interminable length.
