Presentation of the domaine:

Around 1850, the triaieul Goulard, then a weaver, decided to invest part of his capital in vineyards. He set up a distillery and, on the advice of his cousin, a distiller for the great houses, produced an alcohol with a prestigious name: Cognac.

It wasn't until 1921, when the current manager's grandparents married, that the vineyard took the name PETIT.

In 1965, the current owner's father, André Petit, decided to end his contracts with the major Cognac houses and market his own bottled production.

Faithful to tradition and respectful of quality, Petit offers you a prestigious Cognac produced according to a certain taste and character specific to the estate. 

Their eaux-de-vie are produced according to ancestral methods. They harvest their grapes by hand and distill according to the teachings of their forebears. In this way, the family obtains distinctive eaux-de-vie, crafted according to their inspiration and taste. 

Presentation of the cuvée :

André Petit's Cognac Extra XO is the fruit of eaux-de-vie that have been patiently aged for an average of around 25 years, with some reaching 35 years of age. Made from grapes grown in the magnificent Bon Bois region, it seduces with its complexity, delicate roundness and bewitching rancio note. Its reddish-amber hue is simply bewitching.

On the nose, a delicately complex bouquet emerges, where rancio blends harmoniously with the woody scents of undergrowth, the sweetness of vanilla, and the sugary memories of old prunes.

On the palate, we discover the joy of a prestigious Cognac, remarkably round and velvety. The impression of rancio persists, soft but lively.
