Presentation of the domain :

At the end of the 19th century, Paul André was one of a very few vine growers who distilled his own wine production. As a result, they were bequeathed a Paradise cellar which holds, amongst other distinguished cognacs, one that is a gold medal winner in the 50 year old category of a unique competition held in Segonzac (the capital of the Grand Champagne Premier Cru).

During the 1960’s their stock holdings were skilfully developed under the guidance of Guy Chauchet, who’s life’s work was the careful ageing of eau de vie. He also started bottling his own cognacs and creating limited editions, which he sold with growing success. By the 1990’s the line up of cognacs for sale had multiplied tenfold and Voyer had become an established name in the world of prestige Cognac.

Today Francois Voyer has a range spanning 10 different cognacs and ‘assemblages’ and exports to more than 30 countries worldwide. 

Presentation of the vintage :

Erste Nummer aus einer neuen Serie namens "Cask Experience", die darauf abzielt, den Reichtum an Cognac hervorzuheben, indem sie der Mischung einen Hauch von Originalität verleiht. Dieser Cognac, der 8 Jahre im Limousin-Fass gereift war, reifte in einigen Monaten in amerikanischer neuer Eiche zum zweiten Mal.

Das Ergebnis ist ein vollmundiger Cognac mit Noten von Aprikosen, weißen Früchten, Bananen und einem Hauch von Gewürzen wie Muskatnuss. Zartes Holzaroma, das sich perfekt mit der Intensität des Cognacs verbindet. Langer Abgang.
